So I think I mentioned that I got a job. My orientation was today and I start for real on Monday. Nothing quite so exciting as my last job where I was dealing with felons and seeing crime photos and such, but I do get to work with my husband's ex-girlfriend. Yay.

Wimbledon

Y'all been watching Wimbledon this year? I'm a tennis fan, but a Wimbledon fanatic. Not quite sure why, but it is a must see every year for me. I've been watching all week, and the Women's final this morning was agonizing. It set a new record for length. I was so hopeful Davenport would win, but alas it was Venus. Drat.

Tomorrow is the Men's final. Roddick vs. Federer. As if. The only chance Roddick has is if Federer is injured or abducted by aliens or something. Federer (who, BTW, looks freakishly similar to my brother, who oddly enough used to date a girl who looked just like Lindsay Davenport, but I digress) is the best tennis player I have ever seen. Ever. I sometimes wonder if he is telekinetic. Should be a good match, though.

Spell check wants to change "Wimbledon" to "Ambled" and "Y'all" to "Yale". That's kind of cute. And, yes, I'm on my second glass of wine.
